Came in 1634 in the "Francis" from Ipswich County, England; one of the founders of Hartford, Conn.; of Northampton, 1654; Rep. to the General Court. One of the founders of Hartford, Ct., removed to Norhampton, where he was ordained deacon, 1663; rep to General Court five years from Northampton, and one from Hadley; on Committee for Northfield at the Second Settlement.
