Dobbins

PEACH ORCHARD -- Bulah Dobbins, 88, of Peach Orchard died Saturday, Jan. 31, at her residence.  Born at Hickoria, she was a homemaker and member of Living Word Fellowship Church at Corning.  Survivors include four sons, David Dobbins and Allen Walley, both of Peach Orchard, Raymond Dobbins of McDougal and Bill Dobbins of Corning; four daughters, Rozetta Thompson and Marie Malott, both of Peach Orchard, Loretta Osbon of Paragould and Carol Blanton of Corning; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Dobbins, her parents, Robert and Rozetta Matilda Corder Pence, two brothers and two grandsons.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Tuesday at Ermert Funeral Home chapel in Corning, with the Rev. Carmen Miller officiating. Burial will be in Redenbo Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

MALDEN, Mo. -- J.B. Miller, 83, of Malden died Tuesday, May 25, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.  He was born in Corning.  Survivors include his wife, Ann VeenKant Miller of Piggott; three sons, James Lee Miller and Charles Miller, both of Kennett, Mo., and Samuel B. Miller of Pollard; five daughters, Minnie Williams of Kennett, Roxie Calder of Clarkton, Mo., Jennie Williams of Springfield, Ill., Bobby Jo Burkman of Fennville, Mich., and Eva Russell of Trumann; a brother, J.M. Miller of Fennville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus Lee and Eva Janes Miller, five sisters and one brother.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home, with Joe Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Redenbow Cemetery at Corning. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
