McCrory
Cemetery
(Also
Known as The Black Fakes Cemetery)
African
American cemetery located next to First Assembly of God Church, ¼ mile north of
US Hwy 64 on Hwy 145.
Recorded May 26,
2007
By Debbie Lunsford
Yates
The correct name of
this cemetery was submitted by Carol Robb, April 3, 2009, whose family
purchased the property several years ago, without knowledge that a cemetery was
located on the property. They have spent more than ten years clearing and
cleaning this cemetery.
I tip my hat to them
for their hard work.
