There was an order of survey in 1783 for fifty arpents front obtained
by Louis Judice from Governor Miro. This is the same tract from which the
wife of Bellony Landry purchased three arpents in 1799. Breaux has inhabited
and cultivated his tract for ten years prior to Dec. 20, 1803. in 1804 at Acadia County, Ascension Parish.2
