During 2002 many things appened.
First there was the announcement from Marilène and Chris that we
were to become Grand-parents. A few weeks later the same news came from
Isabelle and her friend Chad McMillan. In May, my mother came to live with
us for a while before she was placed in a nursing home. Both our daughter
and their spouse acquired homes. Chris and Marilène moved into their
new home in July.
In September we went to Greece
to visite my wife relatives. During our three weeks trip we stayed a week
on the Island of Corfu. We later visited Delphie and Meteora in Central
Greece.
In October Isabelle and Chad
(McMillan) moved into their new townhouse.
On October 31st
2002 Marilène and Chris Bélanger became the parents of lovely
little girl of 6 pounds 10 ounces that they named Madeleine Sophia Larocque-Bélanger.
We became grand-parents for the first time. On November 2, Isabelle
and Chad McMillan became parents of a little boy of 6 pound 12 ounces that
they named Tristan. McMillan. Last year (2006) Isabelle gave birth
to a little girl, Nyah McMillan on June 21 (longest day of the year). Marilene
also became a mother one more, November 7 of a second dauther, Nicole Bélanger
