In 1966 I was a U. S. Navy Sea Bee attached to Mobile Construction Battalion 133 in Gulfport, Mississippi preparing to go to Viet Nam. One day while sitting in the mess hall eating lunch, another Sea Bee approached the table and asked who owned the car with Lawrence Co., KY tags parked out in the parking lot.

I was on my honeymoon when I stopped by Louisa, KY to visit my grandparents on my way to Mississippi, and while there, I had purchased Kentucky tags for my car.  When I told him it was mine, he asked me where I was from in Lawrence County.   In response to my telling him Louisa,  he said, "You’re a damn liar, I’m from Louisa and I’ve never seen you there!"  Of course by the time the conversation was over I found out he was a friend of my favorite uncle, Tony Lee.
