Here lieth the Remains of HENRY GARTON Who departed this Life November the 12th In the Year of our Lord 1766 and in the 62nd Year of his Age  

Beneath this Stone a faithful friend is laid, who has the common debt of Nature paid, When living, generous and kind, A Loss to all his friends he left behind.

Here lieth interr’d the Body of ELIZABETH, the wife of 

Henry Garton  Who departed this Life February the 18th 1746 Aged XXXIV

In Affection Memory of SAMUEL GARTON Who died 1^st Jun 1891 Aged 70 Years   Also of  MARY the beloved wife of the above  At Rest 4^th December 1887 Aged 80 Years  

As falls the leaf ‘neath Autums withering blast,so die mankind; their spring & summer past, Yea - thou ‘ere long;  may rest beneath the sod; then, young or old prepare to meet thy God.

In Loving Memory of WILLIAM son of Samuel and Mary Garton At Rest February 3^rd 1896 Aged 48 years
