Leyland's of Hindley (Lancashire)

This has the first graphic representation of a Coat of Arms I have seen, or Ron has found, it is close to the Coat of Arms described in the Leland Magazine. The Coat of Arms of the Leland Family is, in heraldic language, thus described :- Gules a saltier argent-charged with three Pallets azure, on chief or crest, with a Crow, rising transfixed with an arrow.
