Military Cross Bestowals
On the 2nd of December 2000, descendants of Confederate soldier James Napoleon Brown were honored with Crosses of Military Service and the National Defense Medal. Soldier Brown was in Co. E of the 27th Regiment, Louisiana Regiment.
Dorothy Brown accepted the Cross and certificate, awarded posthumously, in honor of James Alton Brown, Sr.
