The Jones-Pullen-Thompson Cemetery is located about five miles south of the I-49 and LA Hwy 6 intersection, approximately one miles south of the 132 exit. The cemetery is located on private property in the vicinity of the Old River Hill Cemetery. The cemetery is fenced; there is one tall white marble marker, four flat concrete vaults ( two unmarked ), one medium upright marker, two small upright markers (broken but legible), and one handmade concrete marker (Pheloman Roberson), almost illegible.
In a conversation with a long time area resident, we were told that there were persons by the name of Cohen buried in the unmarked graves.
Many thanks to Mrs. Ernestine Brevelle LaCaze for guiding us through the meadows and woodlands on a lovely spring day when many wildflowers were blooming. Thanks also to Mrs. Vonel Parker for permission to traverse her pasture lands. April 1998: Ms. Jacqueline Jacoby Liles, Sterling Liles, Sheldon Liles, and Ms. Nelda G. Liles.
