Vowels Mill, Natchitoches Parish,

From Provencal, LA travel south on LA 117 about 5 miles to the intersection
of Hwy 478; turn right, travel 7 miles
to intersection of Vowels Mill/Provencal Road (PR 651), Tom Lee Road (PR 745), and Red
Rock Road (PR 750).
Turn left on Tom Lee Road (PR 745) and travel 1.8 miles. The cemetery is sign is on the right and
the cemetery is
visible from this point.
The cemetery is fenced with iron piping. It is approximately 1/3 acre with eight to ten
gravesites marked only with
stones and rocks. Logs and boards from an abandoned log cabin are situated in front of the
cemetery, apparently
once a hunting camp. Tom Lee Road (PR745) is not an all weather road and caution is advised
during wet
weather, hunting season, and during logging operations.
