Mr. Todd is well known in Tallulah where he has made his home for several years, and needs no introduction to our people. Miss Botkin was a resident of Bastrop, La., where she has, for some time been employed as Assistant Superintendent of Education. She will continue in this capacity until the first of the year, after which Mr. and Mrs. Todd will make their home in Tallulah. The wedding, quite a surprise to Mr. Todd's friends here, occurred in Jackson, Miss., where they happened to be on a visit. The ceremony occurred in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and was performed by Dr. Walter Capers, Rector of that church. The Journal joints many friends in wishing them much happiness in the future.
