M., in the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Garret at Quimby, La., when their neice, Miss Ruth Castell, formerly of Hattiesburg. Miss., and Mr. Aubry H. Hurd, of Tallulah; were married by the Rev. Camalin in the presence of relatives, and a few friends. Graceful ferns and stately palms formed the back ground about the improvised alter and in and out many candles beamed their brilliance presaging as it were the bright future predicted for this popular young couple. The brunette beauty of the bride was accentuated by a becoming new fall model of dark blue and all the accessories to match. A corsage of Russel roses and valley lillies completed her costumes. Following the ceremony a very informal reception was held after which Mr. and Mrs. Hurd left on a late train for an extended honeymoon to be at their home later in Tallulah.
