Hopkins and Miss Mary Loecille Pinney married at the home of Mrs. A. L. Slack on Wednesday last, February 2, at 11:40 a.m. V. D. Skipper officiating. Due to the high water and consequent danger of an overflow, the ceremony was performed one week ahead of the day appointed. There were only a few relatives and intimate friends were present. Mr. and Mrs. Hopkins left Wednesday evening for their future at Belview place, St. Joseph, La.
