Gaines-Coltharp Wedding - Madison Parish, Louisiana

Gaines-Coltharp

A very quiet occurred in Tallulah last Wednesday morning at seven thirty when Mr. R. Paul Gaines 
and Miss Helen Elizabeth Coltharp were married by Rev. A. Finch, pastor of the First Baptist Church 
here. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride, and only immediate relatives were present, 
no one being invited. 

Mr. Gaines is the talented son of Dr. G. W. Gaines and is well known throughout this district, and 
is as well liked as he is known and Miss Coltharp is the eldest daughter of Mrs. John Coltharp and 
universally admired. 

The Journal together with the many friends of the happy young couple, offers congratulations and 
wishes them a long, happy voyage across the sea of matrimony.
