The ceremony, uniting in marriage Mr. Robert Clark and Mrs. Augusta Johnson, was performed by the Rev. Mr. D. C. Barr. The bride, from Springfield, Missouri, for the past two years visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs. Laura Fricke, of the Mound neighborhood, met by chance the groom, one of our well-known citizens; love at first sight; a hurricane courtship, culminating in the happiness of "two minds with a single thought, two hearts that beat as one." The bride has endeared herself to those acquainted with her and is welcomed as a charming addition to the society of her neighborhood. After a lovely luncheon of two courses the bride and groom, midst a shower of rice and congratulations, left for their home at Thomastown. The_ guests of the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Clark, Mrs. Laura Fricke, Mr. George Fricke, Mr. Thomas Fricke, Mrs. R. K. Boney, and Miss Martha Boney.
