All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Cassidy-Sevier Wedding - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 25, 1924 SEVIER-CASSIDY A most interesting wedding occurred on Monday, Oct. 20 at 8 a. m. at the plantation home of and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Sevier when their daughter, Miss Florence Juanita and Mr. Thomas P. Cassidy were married. The wedding was very quiet with only the family present. The bride looked beautiful in a brown satin crepe trimmed in fur with accessories and carrying a bouquet of American Beauty roses. They left on the 9:30 train, stopping at points in the west and will make their home in Tucson, Ariz. The bride is a member of a prominent old Southern family --- a connection of Gov. Sevier, of Tennessee, and has many friends here who love her. Mr. Cassidy for some years been connected with the Delta Laboratory station in Tallulah and is a popular young man. His home is in Tupelo, Miss. The Journal joins this happy couple's friends in wishing them every happiness and success in life.
