All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Burleigh-Humble Wedding - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 18, 1922 BURLEIGH - HUMBLE Mr. Hubert Burleigh, of Mound, La., and Miss Mary Humble, of Monroe, La., were married in the parlors of the Commercial Hotel last Friday, March 10. Rev. Mr. McLain officiating. Mr. Burleigh is a valued employee of the Maxwell-Yerger Co., at Mound, and is the manager of the Grocery Department. Mr. Burleigh has been with the company several years. Coming from St. Landry Parish, has a fine army record and his promotion has been won by good work. Miss Humble has been teaching school at Mound for the past two years; gaining her popularity by her many charms of character. They will make their home in Mound, where they are both known and loved.
