TALLULAH SCHOOL COMMENCEMENT

After a most successful year the Tallulah High School closed with its commencement exercises last night at the High School Auditorium. The program would have been published in the Journal last week, but it was thought that the exercises would be held next Monday, due to the fact that the speaker could not be pres­ent. However, later, it was decided to hold the exercises last night.

 

The following is the program that was carried out.

SENIORS ENTERTAINED

An entertainment was given last Friday, May 21, at the Ziegler resi­dence in honor of Miss Annie Purnell and Mr. Allnutt Cason, both members of the Senior Class of the Tallulah High School this year. The entertainment was given by Mrs. W. D. Ziegler and Mrs. J. L. Cason. The house was prettily decorated in vines and flowers the color scheme through­out being green and gold, the Senior class colors. The guests were enter­tained with a progressive game of Authors. After the prizes were a­warded to Mr. Morris and Miss Mallie Jordan, the booby prize to Mr. Dar­row, a lovely buffet supper was serv­ed.
