Membership For Knot-Hole Gang Reported At 219
Madison Journal October 11, 1940

Membership in the Knot Hole Gang has been increasing until it has reached 219. This is much larger 
than at first expected. For membership in this gang the only requirement is that the student attends 
Sunday School three Sundays in September. To keep this membership for November the student must attend 
Sunday School every Sunday in October. Attendance in any Sunday School in the parish will entitle 
students of other schools to become members.

It is hoped this list is complete. Mr. Phillips has tried to get the names of all who are eligible, 
but if any name is not listed it is through an error and will be corrected when he is notified.
