M. a group of men representing the main businesses of Tallulah, met at the Madison National Bank and with the assistance of members of the Monroe Lions. Club, organized a club here. The following officers were elected: P. E. Orpet, President; W. S. Craig, Vice-President; and E. A. Buckner, Secretary and Treasurer. They held their first meeting in the Madison National Bank and selected Thursday as their meeting day. There were 32 members to sign. This is the next club to be sponsored by the Monroe Lions Club. Members of the Monroe Club will be invited to the Charter meeting which will be held sometime in the very near future. A brilliant showing is expected to be made judging by the interest the members are already taking. Tallulah is now large enough to support things of this kind and we look forward with pleasure to the wonderful things in store for our town, provided we take an interest and do it.
