All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** William Wallace Ziegler Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 5, 1994 Services for William Wallace Ziegler Sr. were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Lillard Bevill officiating. Burial was at Silver Cross Cemetery with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Ziegler died Sunday, Oct. 2, 1994, at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop. He was 85. He was a native and lifelong resident of Tallulah and retired as owner of an insurance agency. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 308, Barak Shrine and First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Sevier Ziegler of Tallulah; two sons, William "Bill" Ziegler Jr. of Tallulah and Dr. John S. Ziegler of Bastrop; one sister Georgette Regenold of Tallulah; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Clay Ziegler, Jim D. Sevier, Jim Tucker, George Batchelor, Tommy Bishop and Billy W. Zeigler. Honorary pallbearers were Cliff Adams, Harvey Mounger, Jim Folk, Marvin Whitfield and Glenn Booth.
