All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Yuen Shing Yu - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home February 17, 2016 Yuen Shing Yu October 22, 1939 - February 10, 2016 Funeral services for Mr. Yuen Shing Yu, age 76, of Tallulah, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the chapel of Crother's-Glenwood Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. Dr. Simeon Wall will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Yu died February 10, 2016, at the Meadowview Health and Rehab Center in Minden, La., after a vehicular accident and a lengthy illness. He was born in Hong Kong and came to the United States in January of 1976. He lived in Lake Providence, La., from 1976 to 1988 before moving to Tallulah where he was manager of the Golden Gate Grocery in Tallulah for 18 years. Mr.Yu is survived by his children and family members, one sister, Jenny Jong of Lake Providence, La., one brother, Wayne Yee of Dallas, Tx., two sons, Man Kit Yu of Tallulah and Peter Yu of Tallulah, one daughter, Kit Yu of Dallas, Tx., one daughter-in-law, Wenjing Tan-Yu of Tallulah, and one grandson, Jaden Yu of Tallulah.
