All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Bernice "Bea" Scott Yeates - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 7, 2000 Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice "Bea" Scott Yeates, age 78, of Tallulah, were held Saturday, June 3, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Fulton, Rev. Michelle Allen and Rev. Dennis Dunn officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Carothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Yeates died Wednesday, May 31, in the Red River Hospital in Campti, La., after a lengthy illness. She was born in Poole, La., and had lived in Tallulah for 46 years. She was a retired nurse and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include three sons: Bill R. Stark of Lufkin, Texas, Larry Stark of Campti, La., and Jimmy G. Stark of Tallulah: three daughters: Nancilee Yeates Bodine of Long Beach, Miss., Catherine Yeates Sloan of St. Augustine, Fla., and Betty Stark Norris of Tallulah: nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild: three sisters: Minnie Lee Summerville of Campti, La., Bessie Campbell of Campti, La. and Mildred Sweet of Gig Harbor, Wash. Pallbearers were Luey Norris, Billy Phillips, Joshua Phillips, Paul Summerville, Charles Roberson and Bilbo Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Neumann, L. P. Neumann, Stanley Harmon, Harvey Pippen, Cline Elledge and Rudy Mobley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah.
