All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Roy Lee Wroten - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 16, 1992 Funeral services for Mr. Roy Lee Wroten, 75, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Wroten died Sunday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Russum and lived most of his life in Tallulah. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 100 in Tallulah. He retired as manager of the Coca-Cola Company in Tallulah. Hewas a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tallulah Lions Club and First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Lela Rabb Wroten of Tallulah; three daughters, Emily Ruth Ervin and Lee Ann Arbuckle, both of Tallulah and Carolyn E. Wroten of Shreveport; two sons, Roy Douglas Wroten of Tallulah and Ronnie Wesley Wroten of Vicksburg; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Still, Buck Reeves, Gene Cox, Robert Webb, Jack Millikin and Billy Querry.
