Woods - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 13, 1986 DELHI--Services for Mrs. Hamon M. Woods, 89, were at 2 p.m. Friday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. O.B. Robertson officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Woods died Tuesday at a Tallulah hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Huntsville, Ala., a resident of Delhi for the past 50 years, a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include four sons, J. W. McCurry Sr. of Gilmer, Texas, Floyd McCurry of Diana, Texas, Claude McCurry of Midland, Texas and Lloyd McCurry of Delhi; two daughters, Mrs. Mary M. Collins of Tallulah and Mrs. Virginia Barrow of Delhi; one sister, Mrs. Donnie Pigg of Fayetteville, Tenn.; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were grandsons.
