All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Betty Duncan Wood - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 28, 1987 BATON ROUGE-Services for Mrs. Betty Duncan Wood of Baton Rouge were at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 925 Government St., in Baton Rouge. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah at 4 p.m. Friday under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home in Baton Rouge. Mrs. Wood died Wednesday Jan. 21 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She was a native of Hartsville, Tennessee, was a Family Resource Management Specialist for the La. Cooperative Extension Service with 35 years of service, also served as an Advisor to the State Extension Homemaker Council for 9 years and had been Home Demonstration Agent in Tangipahoa, West Feliciana, Iberville and Bossier Parishes. Survivors include one son, David A. Wood of Baton Rouge: two sisters, Jo Ann D. Warner and Patsy D. Bosso, both of Baton Rouge and three brothers, Dewitt Duncan of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Richard Duncan and James Duncan, both of Tallulah.
