Wixon - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 6, 1960 Services Held For Mrs. C. E. Wixon Tuesday Afternoon Funeral services for Mrs. C. E. Wixon were held Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 at the First Baptist Methodist Church with the Rev. William F. Mayo and Rev. Don Wineinger officiating. Mrs. Wixon who had been a resident of Tendal for a number of years, and a member of the Methodist Church, died at an Arcadia hospital last Sunday about noon. Interment .was held in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles Beckett, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Clayton Calhoun, West Monroe, and Mrs. W. M. Strickland, Arcadia, two sons, Cy Wixon, Tendal and Leon Wixon, Lake Wells, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ray Snyder, Charles Arneson, Frank McKay, Jim Frazier, Jr., Charles Brown, H. C. Sevier, Tony LePietra and W. H. Erickson.
