All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Owa Wiser - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star December 30, 1935 TALLULAH, La., Dec. 30. - (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. Owa Wiser, 67, of Carey, Ohio, who died here December 26, while on a visit to her children in Tallulah, were held at Williams' Funeral chapel Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. L. A. Materne of the Tallulah Baptist church, officiating. Interment followed in Silver Cross cemetery here. Mrs. Wiser was a native of Ohio and at the time of her death was a resident of Carey in that state. Surviving are her husband, Alva Wiser of Ohio, and six children, Victor Wiser, Mrs. Clyde Johns[t]on and Mrs. Odessa Deckard of Tallulah, Syril Wiser and Mrs. Luther Haynes of Hughes, Ark., and Mrs. Lester Salye of Carey, Ohio.
