All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ William Woodrow Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 12, 1981 Services for William Woodrow Wilson, 68, were held Jan. 31 in the Midway Baptist Church with the Revs. Xxxxon Thornton and W.H. Xxxxxx officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Wilson died Thursday in Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi after a long illness. He was a native of Franklin Parish and had resided in Madison for the past 40 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Midway Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bernice Wilson of Waverly; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Mayberry and Mrs. Irma Parker, both of Sondheimer, and Mrs. Irene Parker of Tallulah; his mother, Mrs. Mabel Wilson of Tallulah; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Claude Williams, J.D. Porter, Harvey Presley, Gene Presley, Nevel Allen and Oran Murray. Nephews served as honorary pallbearers.
