Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 24, 1987 Funeral services for Mr. Woodrow J. Wilson, 73, were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Wilson died Saturday at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Montgomery, La and a resident of Madison Parish for the past 45 years. He was a former school teacher, former high school principal, a retired farmer and a member of Tallulah First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth S. Wilson of Tallulah; two sons, Barry Jon Wilson of Baton Rouge and Dr. Chester Craig Wilson of Ben Lomond, Calif. Pallbearers were Charlie Arneson, Glenn Booth, Carroll Crow, Richard Duncan, Ralph Loc and Maurice Ursery. Family members request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or Tallulah United Methodist Church.
