All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ William Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 29, 1961 Services Held Thursday for William Wilson Services for William Wilson, 74, who died early Wednesday in a Monroe Hospital was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Wilson and the Rev. F. C. Chambers officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. He was a native of Cochran, Miss., and had been a resident of Madison Parish for the past 39 years. A farmer, he was a member of the Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mabel Wilson, Tallulah ; two sons, Emmett R. and W. W. Wilson, both of Delhi; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Mayberry, Mrs, James Parker and Mrs. Saniford Parker, all of Tallulah, 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Horace Russell, Winford Parker, W. O. Wiggins, Billy Frith, Armond Cox, and Clinton Johnson.
