All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Evelyn Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 20, 1977 Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Wilson, 52, of Tallulah, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson died Sunday at Vicksburg Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss. after a brief illness. She was a native of Bossier City, a resident of Madison Parish for a number of years, a store clerk and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include one son, James H. Wilson of Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. Sue Blake of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Graves of Delhi and Mrs. Bobbie Ezell of Winnsboro; her mother, Mrs. Harvey Oakes of Delhi and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roy Erwin, Lloyd T. Erwin, Eddie Roberson, Jimmy Kyzar, Charles Nolan, J. K. Post Jr., James E. Smith and Artie Skelton.
