Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 19, 1989 Funeral services for Mr. Donald A. Wilson, 71, were at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Wilson died Monday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson following a short illness. He was a native of Davenport, Iowa and a resident of Tallulah for the past 30 years. He was a retired welder, a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Mary Wilson of Tallulah; three sons, Donald Wilson of Vicksburg, Jimmy Wilson of Pennsylvania and Michael Glenn Wilson of Texas; six daughters, Elaine Rose of Arkansas, Jo Ann Masters of Arizona, Marilyn Rosamond of Vicksburg, Barbara Copes of Rayville and Kathy Jobe and Brenda Wells, both of Tallulah; two sisters, Ruth Bradshaw of Missouri and Babe Wilson of Washington; one brother; James Wilson of Florida; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Donald Wells, Glenn Copes, James Rosamond, Sonny Copes, Johnny Jobe, Grady Edwards and James McDonald.
