All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Mattie Murff Williamson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 6, 1973 Rites held here for Mrs. Williamson Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Murff Williamson, 94, of Tallulah were held Saturday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. David Corley officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Williamson died Thursday in the Delta Haven Nursing Home here after a long illness. A native of Arcola, Miss., Mrs. Williamson had lived in Madison Parish for the past 45 years. She was the widow of the late Mr. E. E. Williamson. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Maxwell Yerger and Mrs. Harold B. Davis, both of Tallulah; one son, Thomas Williamson of Winnsboro; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were E. H. Lancaster Jr., C. C. Adams, Manfred Gustafson, (others.)
