Williamson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 27, 1988 Funeral services for Mr. Jesse D. Williamson, 63, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur West officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Williamson died Monday, April 18 near Tallulah while fishing. He was a native of Arkansas and a resident of Madison Parish for the past 60 years. Mr. Williamson was a retired farmer, a Baptist and was a a school bus driver for the Madison Parish school system. Survivors include four sons, Russell Williamson of San Antonio, Tx., Larry Williamson of Bradford, Pa., Timmy Williamson of Dallas, Tx. and Donald Williamson of Monroe; one daughter, Denise Cooper of Tallulah; four brothers, Estus Williamson, Carley Williamson, Cordes Williamson and Huey Williamson, all of Tallulah; one sister, Bessie Purvis of Transylvania; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Kolan Ray, Wayne Smith, Don Clack, H. C. Blake, Toby Ray and Rusty Hicks. Honorary pallbearers were A. C. Ray, Dr. L. P. Neumann Jr., Edgar Lott and Marvin Worley.
