Williamson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 17, 1995 Services for Gary R. Williamson were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev John Rushing and Rev. Arthur West officiating. Burial took place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Williamson died Saturday, May 13, 1995, at his home in Madison Parish. He was 48. He was a native and lifelong resident of Madison Parish. He was a welder and a member of Montrose Baptist Church in Tallulah. He is survived by his father, Carley Williamson of Tallulah; his sister, Brenda Williamson Harvey of Tallulah; two brothers, Darryl Williamson and Richard Williamson, both of Tallulah; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Wayne Hopkins, Doug Mackey, Bill Kirk, Ira A. Ervin, Sam Hill and Jimmy Shivers. Honorary pallbearers were Chaphin Florice, Billy Wayne Laird and Ira H. Ervin. Memorials may be made to the National Diabetes Association.
