All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Estus Williamson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 10, 1999 Funeral services for Mr. Estus Williamson, age 86, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Williamson died Friday, March 5, 1999, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Miss., after a lengthy illness. He was a lifelong resident of Tallulah and was a retired farmer. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene and a son, Buddy Williamson. Survivors include two sons, Dr. Stoney Williamson of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Carl Williamson of Tallulah; one daughter, Maxine Hanson of Tallulah; six grandchildren: 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Cordes Williamson of Tallulah; and two sisters, Bxx Purvis of Alsatia, La. and Lawrence Walker of Oak Grove, Pallbearers were Jim Lxxxx, Freddie Morgan, Steve Baxxx, Cecil Wells, Charlie Hopkins and Patrick Glass. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements.
