Williamson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 29, 1984 Mrs. Eleanor R. Williamson, 57, died Sunday at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a long illness. Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Ebie McGee and Arthur West officiating. Mrs Williamson was a lifelong resident of Madison Parish, a teacher's aide at Thomastown School for 14 years, a homemaker, a Sunday School Teacher and member of Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Williamson of Tallulah; mother, Mrs. Eulalia Russell of Tallulah; four sons, Russell Williamson of San Antonio, Texas, Larry Williamson of Bradford, Penn., Timmy Williamson of Beaumont, Texas, and Donald Williamson of Tallulah; one daughter, Denise Williamson of Tallulah; two brothers, Horace Russell of Tallulah and Hilton Russell of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Lou Bowden of Winnsboro and Mrs. Carol Jean House of Ferriday: six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Thurmon Busby, Kenneth Busby, Kolan Ray, Armon Cox, Charlie Purvis and Winnfred Parker.
