All rights reserved. ************************************************ Carl Edward Williamson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home March 11, 2016 May 12, 1941 - March 5, 2016 Funeral services for Mr. Carl Edward Williamson, age 74, will be held at Crother's-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Don Privett officiating. Visitation will be for one hour before the service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crother's-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Williamson died Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the Madison Parish Hospital after a sudden illness. He was a resident of Tallulah his entire life. He attended Tallulah High School, served in the U.S. Army National Guard, was a farmer, worked with the Tallulah Police Department and the Madison Parish Sheriff's Department, and retired after 21 years with the Department of Transportation and Development in 2003. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Keith Williamson, his parents, Estus and Lorene Williamson, a brother, Buddy Williamson, a sister, Maxine Hanson, and a great-granddaughter, Maddie Jeffers. He is survived by his wife Linda Metcalfe Williamson, one daughter, Karen Collins and husband Ray of Tallulah, one brother, Dr. Stoney Williamson and wife Diane of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 6 grandchildren, Mary Beth Williamson, Brian Keith Williamson, Jr., Carl Wicker, Cody Collins, David Collins, and Jenna Signa, and two great-grandsons, Brady Mac Adams and Waylon Wicker. Pallbearers will be Carl Wicker, Cody Collins, David Collins, Stevie Ballard, Cal Trichell, and Chris "Squeeky" Cagnolatti.
