All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Bob Williams Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal October 11, 1995 Services for Bob Williams Sr. were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Duewayne Tullos officiating, assisted by the Revs. John Rushing and Gary Patience. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Williams died Monday, Oct. 9, 1995, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. He was 76. He was born in Harrisville, Miss., and had lived in Tallulah for the past 38 years. He was a veteran of World War II and retired as a tax accountant. He was a noted supporter of the Tallulah High School football team and was a member and deacon of Parkview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Edwin Ray Williams, in 1973. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Barnes Williams of Tallulah; two sons, Bobby F. Williams of Transylvania, La., and Donn Williams of Baton Rouge, La.; one daughter, Amy Waters of Shreveport, La.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his brother James B. Williams of Mendenhall, Miss. Pallbearers were deacons of Parkview Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Men's Sunday School Class of Parkview Baptist Church.
