Willhite - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 4, 1991 Funeral services for John C. Willhite, 14, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marion Collier and Rev. Alfred Garvin officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Willhite died Thursday at his home. He was born in Delhi and lived in Madison Parish. He was a former student at Tallulah Academy and was attending Crowville High School. Survivors include his mother, Penny Sheppard Salamat-Ta1ab of Crowville; his father, John A. Willhite Jr. of Delhi; three brothers, William T. Sheppard of Crowville, Behrouze Brad Salamat-Talab of Mobile, Ala. and William Willhite of Delhi; his stepmother, Wanda Willhite of Delhi; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Willhite Sr. of Tallulah and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Matthews of Crowville; and his great-grandmother, Etta Mae Willhite of Winnsboro. Pallbearers were Johnnie Matthews Sr., Johnnie Matthews Jr., Robert Matthews, Nathaniel Matthews, John Cable, George Parker and Durwood Willhite Jr.
