All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Elma Willhite - Madison Parish, Louisiana From The Vicksburg Post October 22, 2013 TALLULAH, La. — Elma Willhite of Vicksburg died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, in Jackson. She was 87. She was a longtime resident of Madison Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John A. Willhite. Survivors include a son, Jay Willhite of Crowville, La.; two daughters, Shirley Stephens of Vicksburg and Patricia Hendrix of Tallulah, La.; a sister, Mary Willhite Ferguson of Columbia, La.; eight grandchildren; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Clifton Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service. Pallbearers will be Kenny Willhite, Mike Willhite, James Matthews, Jim McCool, Joey Matthews and Chris Stephens, with Hank Matthews as alternate.
