All rights reserved. ************************************************ Palmer Brooks Willett - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post June 15, 2001 TALLULAH - Palmer Brooks Willett died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at his home in Tallulah. He was 58. Mr. Willett had lived most of his life in Tallulah. He graduated from Tallulah High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, and from Northeast Louisiana State College in Monroe in 1965. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah, serving as a choir member and Sunday school teacher. He was also a member of Tallulah Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, August Hoffman Willett Jr. and Ann Palmer Willett, and a brother, A. Trent Willett. Survivors include a sister, Ann Willett Bounds of Texarkana, Ark.; three brothers, David C. Willett of Tallulah, Dr. E. Dan Willett of Baton Rouge and August H. Willett III of Easton, Pa.; a niece; three nephews; and a great-nephew. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Tallulah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
