Willett - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 17, 1977 Funeral services for Adrian M. Willett, of Tallulah, were held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with Father John Gayer officiating. Burial followed at the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Willett died Wednesday night in the St. Charles Legion Memorial Hospital in Newellton after a brief illness. He was active and a resident of Tallulah for 40 years. Mr. Willett was a retired U. S. Air Force Captain, a veteran of WW II and a member of the American Legion Scott-Nicols-Volk Post 100. He was also a charter member of the Tallulah Rotary Club. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Myra B. Willett of Tallulah; one brother, August H. Willett Jr., of Tallulah; five nephews; one niece; one great nephew; one great-niece. Active pallbearers were Rufus Yerger Jr., Shields Bray, Leroy Smith, Calvin Adams, William R. Adams, Edward D. Willett, August H. Willett, III and James Bowles. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Yerger, Henry Sevier, Amy Sevier, Jack Bowden, Earl Rash, Carroll DeWeese, Red DeWeese, R. Wyly Gandy, Dr. George Webb, Dr. W. A. Chapman, Carroll Regan, Harry Holt, Tommy Bishop, E. C. Woodyear, W. P. Sevier, Louis Tonore, Billy Post, Jim Sevier, Bob Williams, J. G. Wyly, Jr. and Howard Sevier.
