Wilkins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 2, 2008 TALLULAH -- Eula L. Wilkins died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. She was 92. Mrs. Wilkins was born in Mischner, La., to L.J. and Eliza Land. She had been a member of First United Methodist Church in Tallulah since 1932 and was a member of the Women's Guild and the church choir. She was a church greeter and a participant in church dramas. Mrs. Wlikins was preceded in death by her husband, Luke A. Wilkins; and a daughter, Sue Wilkins Laminack. Survivors include two sons, Johnny Wilkins and Jimmy Wilkins, both of Tallulah; one daughter, Lou Ann Jones of Tallulah; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Wilkins will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Revs. Jean Foreman, the Rev. Michael Jones and her son Johnny Wilkins officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Tallulah or a charity of choice.
