Wicker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 15, 1983 W. M. Wicker, 71, died Dec. 6 at his residence in Tallulah after an illness. Funeral services were held at the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home in Vicksburg, with Rev. Everett Perette of Vicksburg officiating. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg (apparently actually in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Wicker was a native of Xxxxxille, Miss. and lived in Tallulah most of his life. He was a logger. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Xxxxll Wicker of Tallulah; daughters, Mrs. Peggy Xxxx of Star, Miss., Mrs. Carol Xxxxxnn of Laurel, Miss., and Mrs. Judy Melton of Tallulah ; six sons, M. E. Wicker, Mack Wicker, and Pat Wicker of Vicksburg, Gerald Wicker, Mike Wicker and Calvin Wicker of Tallulah; one brother, Herman Wicker of Midland, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Guimbellot of Vicksburg, Mrs. Nonie Rawson of Waynesboro, Miss. and Mrs. Leona Perette of Hazlehurst, Miss. Pallbearers were Bill Sharp, R. R. Mitchell, Virgil Neumann, J. W. Powers, Eddie Hattaway, James Blackledge, James Ingram and Thomas Ingram.
