Albert Whitley - Madison Parish, Louisiana

Funeral services for Mr. Albert Whitley, 79, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home 
Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Whitley died Monday at the Madison Parish Hospital after a brief illness.

He was a native of Alabama and a resident of Tallulah for the past 50 years. He was a retired employee 
of Chicago Mill and Lumber Co. and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie S. Whitley of Tallulah; two sons, Albert J. Whitley and Cecil Whitley 
of Tallulah; seven daughters, Tinny Mosley, Linny Xxxxx, Xxxxtie Ann Coody, Betxxx Xxxxxx, Gainelle Brewer, 
Xxxxx Freeman and Norma Xxxxx of Tallulah; one sister Xxxxx Whitaker of Tallulah; xx grandchildren, 12 
great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Bxxx Xxxxble, Ray Jobe, Shawn Xxxxx, Richard Marshall, Lxxxx Xxxris and Wayne Hendxxxx.

Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Lee Simmons and Xxxxx Simmons.
