White - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 3, 1996 Funeral services for Mr. Elisha H. White, age 73, of West Monroe, La., were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 1996, in the Chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Sanchez officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr White died Thursday, March 28, in the Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe after a lengthy illness. lie was born in Darnell, La., and had lived 11 years in West Monroe. He was a retired office manager for a grain elevator. He was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church of West Monroe. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Helen S. White of West Monroe; one son, Ronald E. White of West Monroe; four sisters, Audett Smith of Bastrop, Linnie Mae Williams of Picayune, Ethel Chaler of Shreveport, and Edith White of Tallulah; and two grandchildren.
