E. White rites are today Clarence Edward White, 61, of Tallulah, died Tuesday morning in the Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg following a brief illness. He was a native of Pierre, S. D., and a resident of Madison Parish for 35 years He was the maintenance man at the Mercy Hospital and a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today in the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Crawford Williams and the Rev. David Corley officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. June White of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Shoemaker of Tallulah; a sister Miss Beulah White of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Raymond White of Sunnyvale, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Carl Brown, (others.)
